}Enhanced Readiness as a Way of Life{

As I write on Monday (two days before the beginning of this report) everyone is concerned about Hurricane Sandy. I noted in the last forecast how its period of threat corresponds exactly to the |difficult third of this week| which I have been pointing out here for years with no applause from anyone. I am not going to repeat the exact times; they have already been posted; they include Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday until 6:24 p.m. Eastern Time. Not only are the subways, schools, and so on in New York expected to be closed through Tuesday, also the stock exchanges, which is very rare. That is affecting world markets far beyond New York. You might ask yourself why, if astrology is a delusion, the method Cosmic Piper (and he alone) has discovered for |the difficult third of each week| which I have been pointing out here for years happened to pick the exact two days all these things would happen? The same is true every week, but not as dramatically. As I have said for years, there are more arrests, crises, and problems of every kind during this |third| of each week which is why I waste my breath pointing it out every time. If you heed it and watch, you will find your own way of dealing with it.

Further, if you think the moon's void-of-course times are a delusion, consider this: Monday morning when Mayor Bloomberg gave his press conference, he pointed out that the hardest time of the day, with the biggest threat from winds, would be around 8 p.m Eastern Time. Now consider: In this forecast I pointed out that on Monday the moon would go void-of-course at 5:02 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, three hours before this most-difficult period of the storm according to non-astrological meteorologists. Hey guys, maybe something real is going on with those void-of-course times?

Further yet, all this is happening in a Dark Hermetic Epoch which, again, I have pointed out here until my breath was giving out, is the two-month period out of every four months in which the most disasters and difficulties occur. The events of 9/11/2001 occurred during (a) a Dark Hermetic Epoch, in fact the first day of one, (b) a |difficult third of the week|, and (c) a moon-void-of-course period. Now, eleven years later, we have the "worst ever" hurricane hitting New York on a day when these same three conditions prevail. Astrology is not a lot of insubstantial malarkey, but a partially substantiated and waiting-to-be-further-substantiated science.

I am not predicting how much damage the storm will do. Preparation for it has already disrupted millions of lives. My guess is that damage to persons as well as real estate will not be extremely bad, but of course such an estimate is relative to each individual situation.

This period, beginning Wednesday afternoon through Thursday and Friday, does not look extremely difficult but has its uncertainties. Wednesday evening could be a good social time, the best of the period, if people give up their worries enough to enjoy being together. Happy Halloween! Thursday looks active and serious but not depressing. For some it could be a time of hard work dealing with the aftermath of the storm; for others in other areas something parallel, such as reorganizing one's home for one reason or another. I would guess that some in low-lying Eastern coastal areas will be reconsidering their location and some will be ready to sell. Others will be ready to buy those dangerous but enticing homes. Something similar might be going on in your own mind wherever you live, as if you were reconsidering a change of location. Or it might be a friend who is doing this while it affects you indirectly.

You want to get things moving. This can be done Wednesday afternoon and Thursday; Friday with less certainty because of the void-of-course moon. (We have had longer v-of-c periods for a couple weeks because of planetary positions, but they will be decreasing over the coming month. Monday afternoon and all of Tuesday up to Wednesday noon were v-of-c. New Yorkers and East Coasters probably were feeling "What can I do first? Would this work? No. This? Probably not. Maybe I will just have to punt.")  And so Friday again could be, apart from necessary routine work, a rest day, toward which I probably need not urge you.

Something about drawing, painting, or writing is significant. You might want to sketch on a piece of paper something in your mind which gets to you and inspires you. A drawing, no matter how crude, could be helpfulshowing you something about what you are thinking and feeling subconsciously, and how to direct that wisely. You do not have to show it to anyone. Others who work in the visual arts may create  more complex designs.

You can be watchful and careful without being fearful. You can work at tasks which seem imposed on you, which you did not choose, while realizing there are going to be inevitable rewards for that. This requires faith. Yet perhaps even more, insight into the why and wherefore of your labors could help. What seems imposed on you must have been some choice of your soul, if viewed from a high enough perspective (covering perhaps past and future lifetimes as well as this). If you do that well, you will be ready for a more ambitious frontier which you are itching to explore. Most likely that will be further ahead, but you are preparing for it in ways lucky and pleasing.
