Message for Monday 1 May 2023
\Serenade/For me and some others known to me it has been a difficult weekend. Today should be somewhat better. Still, we are in the Mercury Retrograde period for another two weeks. Someone told me today that he is going to retire from his job. I recommended that he continue, but with fewer hours. We are tempted to "throw in the towel" during the MR periods but often this is not wise. Patience improves prospects. Monday:
A farmyard implement, a fork with four prongs,
Is useful unostentatiously, like some individuals
Contented to labor away usefully.
Sparrows collect together, chattering and pluming,
Like humans who are social, convivial, jovial.
We are happy in the company of others, expressing
Honesty; persuasive and sympathetic. Two butterflies
Rest on a bright orange flower, fanning their wings,
Graceful, granting recognition and affection
To each other in hopeful happy reciprocity.
The heavens smile on gondoliers in a serenade
In harmony with the exuberant music of life itself.
A symphony of cooperation, sentiment, personal traits
Crescendos toward high consummation.
