\One, Two, None, All/
The Stranger seems lost, even to himself,
Though they make him unpopular.
Duality discomfits him, a sense that every
One is a Two, that is, out of sympathy with
Himself and therefore Other. Thus his companion
Is Isolation. If he meets with someone congenial
They are like two wolves in the moonlight
Devouring a carcass. Roaming and unsettled,
Revengeful or crafty, he yet has social moments
When linked with a group of people who overeat
And enjoy their satiety. Fullness does not have to be
Overindulgence but can be compensation for what is
Lacking in a life trying for competent smoothness.
