° Wisely Directed Energy ° Foremost in the weekly chart is a close, intense T square, with Mars opposite Pluto and both square the sun: Anger, resentment, violence, animal passions, and determination to win. There are overtones of sexual coercion or rape. None of this "bad karma" is inevitable. Astrology exists to prevent such misuse of the cosmic forces. Sleeping souls fall victim to primitive passions, like fighting bulls (the sun enters Taurus Saturday afternoon), but those spiritually awakened can use discretion to turn stubborn energy in a positive direction. Of course it's evident on the world stage that this could mean intensified fighting and killing. Astrologer Isabel Hickey says that Pluto acts characteristically through groups, such as gangs, mafiosi, oppressive governments and the like. But she adds that Pluto can also represent forces of light combating such evil forces of dark cruelty. Let us ally ourselves with the forces of light, thinking and praying with them.
