Message for Wednesday 9 April 2025

Maybe you've heard enough from me concerning the state of confusion the world, and each of us individually, has been going through. Here's something cheery: Not so much today as tomorrow, Thursday, looks like a time for fun or entertainment. I'd suggest splurging a little then, and letting go of worries about tariffs or taxes while you enjoy the temporary charms of a tavern. Or wherever you get happy renewal.
Meanwhile we'll look at the symbols for Wednesday according to a regular formula I've been fine-tuning for years:
1 Charubel says we might be possessed by secret notions which, being false, render our good intentions abortive. Could that be, for example, Donald Trump believing blithely in the magical power of his tariffs? Or yours truly believing he has a perfect astrological formula? What about you? You have "good and amiable qualities and many gifts" yet "a round hole" in the center of your triangle lets success drain away from you.
2 "A shovel standing near an open grave" can actually be a good omen, because there is nothing in the grave. No one died or is going to die. This could be a disguised symbol of immortality.
3 And so "a storm in a canyon," though alarming, is "just stuff." More tariff winds shaking the markets? Let them blow. A momentary crisis is just an intensification of unleashed powers.
4 The keyword for the final symbol is Victory, but whose? Trump's, China's, yours? "Through a crown is set an upright sword." One is "set upon high resolves, capable of sustaining the assaults of enemies so as to achieve purposes without loss of fortune, prestige or honor. If a king, he will sustain his throne; while one of lowly birth will gain his crown in the service of his king." Whom one chooses as one's king, counts for much.

Karmically sobering third of this week is with us until Friday evening (My suggestion of Thursday as a fun-time is based on other factors.)
