}Subtle Comradeship{
There is an easing of things, and less confusion. It is well to pick up the threads of your destiny and just keep weaving with them, for you are like an arrow passing through a cloud of smoke, disregarding side issues which could capture your attention pointlessly.
For once I feel my challenge is to convince you that things could be better than you think! You could miss fine opportunities by indifference or temporizing. Yet you don't have to whip yourself into action either, just see where your advantage lies for the moment and turn in that direction.
Are some self-centered and worldly, even foolish? It's human life. Yet you yourself do not need to be stupidly frivolous as much as to tolerate some of that in others, up to a point. On the positive side, there could be relief within comedy, theatricality, and coquetry.
However, a person with much nervous energy and force of character is like a lightning flash, a leader and reformer. He may illumine the political scene, the affairs of the community, as a pioneer.
In lighter moments there is geniality and fellow-feeling, as if two individuals were seated at a table with beakers of wine. They might be indiscreet, yet their frankness is liberating. Daintily and intimately they share their knowledge of human character. They are comrades.
