Message for Week of May 3-10, and current Hermetic Epoch ○ The May-June Epoch ○ I'm looking at a chart that covers the whole of the Bright Hermetic Epoch which began April 26th and extends through June 29th. Based on just the motions and speeds of Mars, Venus and Mercury we have been in a troubling, sticky period since last October when Mars entered its rare slow phase. That shall end Saturday May 3rd about when you read this. Already it feels like most governmental operations and the financial markets are returning to normality. Then, on May 17th Venus also shall return to normal orbital speed. This is specially good for relationships because Venus shall also be exactly trine Mars at that time. Those you care about will be more easily available, less worried or worrisome. Let's look at the positions and symbols of five major planets in this chart for, essentially, May and June: Saturn: Conjunct Neptune, beware of drink and drugs. Square Jupiter, be willing to examine yourself, be your own confessor, and take charge of your soul's destiny. We are being judged by the laws of Deity, yet He is merciful to those who keep trying to live up to high ideals. Thereby male and female, purposeful and emotional aspects of self become interdependent in a deep realization. Jupiter: "A man declared bankrupt" is really just learning how to make transactions more convenient, being delivered from penalties felicitously. With a square to Saturn and Neptune, of course fraud and scam should be avoided. Jupiter's other aspects are excellent, sextiles to Mars and Venus on both sides. Much is available: "A baronial mansion with spacious park abounding with gigantic trees" "denotes a person not given to change, a student of antiquity, a profound scholar." There's our spring-summer reading. "A large well-cultivated tract of land" has the keyword Fruitfulness. Mars: Working toward a square with Uranus, there are despotic or cruel tendencies. Prisons will not be "reformatories" until prison management is reformed. "A human face is surrounded by a coiled serpent; a raised hand also appears." There is diplomacy and success in commanding others through insight into character, with the keyword Penetration. "Chickens intoxicated" warn against "the futility of a dependence on physical agency for spiritual results." There could be, rather, accentuated self-mobilization. Then, with Mars's good aspects to Jupiter and Venus, "on a high mountain plateau one of the ancient magi is performing his morning devotions in the sunlight." There's nothing like beginning the day in alignment with the Highest. Sol and Mercury conjoined: "An airplane falling" is a plunge into experience with disregard of consequences; however, the dive can be righted, thus reestablishing control of the flight at a crisis point. Sometimes it appears that "a monster plant" is growing rapidly as if propelled by magic power. A lively two months. Yet when things get out of hand, a woman of pleasing appearance offers a glass of healing fluid to a child. There is kindness, sympathy and benevolence achieved through self-sacrifice. Venus: An immodest woman stands behind a man playing with colored balls. The exultation of Mars and Venus in a trine can sometimes be careless or foolish pleasures. But we have "a nice villa on the northeast side of a green field surrounded by shrubberies." Nothing essential is missing. We are content with the adequacy that keeps us. And there is "an open window and a net curtain blowing into a cornucopia." Unmerited good fortune? No, "the human and cosmic facets of reality in a convenient and joyful realization of each other."
