Message for Monday 5 May 2025
□ Ruggedness □ Things are mixed. People are going through complex transitions. Some feel "We're in the end times." I don't believe that but it's hard to recall a time when so many were struggling with immediate life-challenges. Yet I keep saying that things are slowly getting better. Even, I said that today, May 5th, is the first day when the mournful month-long conjunction of Venus with Saturn, though continuing, is overtaken by the friendly trine between Venus and Mars. I hope. Yet the four symbols for the day are sobering: 1 Many seem like strangers with peculiar beliefs and opinions, unpopular. 2 "A comet with a long tail pointing toward the earth" represents notorious characters in the hands of evil powers. (There are plenty to choose from in the headlines.) They could become "the scourge of nations." Their influence is baneful on all with whom they have to do. 3 What is the remedy? "A Bolshevik propagandist"? Or is he one of the peculiar people of paragraph 1? Are revolutionists leavening social-political thinking or just making a bigger mess of things? Do the rants of propagandists on the left or right ever make a constructive difference? Wouldn't serious respectful discussion between them be more worthy and helpful? 4 It's the merry month of May, and in the woods wild undergrowth abounds, with plants of many kinds and colors. Fortunately they do not have political opinions. Rustic folk are fond of the beauties of country life.
