• Toward Commonplace Optimism •
1 Are some people born, or conditioned to be, low, savage and cruel? "A man beats an ass with a stick." I despise all cruelty to animals.
2 If "two bulls are seen fighting together" they resemble petulant and warlike human beings, of whom we have too many. Making enemies is too easy.
3 Impractical and vain pursuits result in something like "a broken pitcher lying on the ground with spilled fruit around it." We each develop our own cures for carelessness.
4 "A woman holding a bag out of a window" is not dropping it but "exalting commonplace activity, each member of the community seeking to encourage the others in their daily routine." The keyword is Facilitation.
5 "A water-wheel attached to a corn mill" signifies a flexible mind capable of much ingenuity and accomplishment.
6 If we rise above paragraphs 1-3, we approach "the gate to the garden of desire." Naive optimism opens up one or another opportunity. Dreams are enhanced, frontiers crossed. The keyword is Prospect.

Moon in Capricorn goes void-of-course at 7:20a PT.
Karmically sobering third of this week ends near 3p PT.
Which is harder to navigate,, the sobering third or the void-of-course? What do you think?
