• A Double Promise • The strong passions of a mad bull are restrained by two men with ropes around its head. It insists on its own way. A man on a restive horse maintains dignity and position by means of his natural powers, giving no quarter to enemies; the keyword is Dominion. There is a ladder into a dark loft for homeless people. Yet they are resourceful within their alternative lifestyle, with facility of adjustment according to the keyword Sensibility. "A double promise" is represented first by a man enjoying himself with self-admiration in a gorgeous garden, and secondly by "a great genius like a brilliant star in a dark sky. His home is in the Western Hemisphere." One embodies material and the other celestial glory. "A woman, lightly clad, is lying in a field of violet flowers." Is she indolent, or just taking a needed rest within Nature's luxuriousness? "Two lovers strolling through a secluded walk" are innocent and unspoiled. Naively they enjoy the world and each other.
