Message for Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April 2026
Saturday 18th: • Above the Earth? • We start with the "cheerless" symbols of the day, such as "the earth covered with a deep snow" suggesting an uneventful life lacking the native energy required for success. Then there is "a bed of a dried-up river wherein crows are feeding." One may have given much to unthankful people who offer nothing in return. Still, we remain in the month of Aries and "two men are engaged in a fight." Many are pugnacious. It would be better to put that energy into simple, persistent, honest effort, like "a man of humble appearance but much strength felling a tree with an axe." Springtide is described thus: "I see green everywhere, and everything is on the move." Many changes seem to head nowhere; yet someone is wearing "a large hat with streamers flying, facing east." Naive creativity accompanies Excitation, the keyword. "I seem to be above the earth. I see a man, yet one greater than a man! His mission is a WORLD mission." Who is your candidate or candidates? Higher yet, "A celestial choir is singing." There can be "a gift for the effective articulation or manifestation of those eternal realities through which all people find themselves at one." This is a cure for the first two paragraphs. The keyword is Veneration. Saturday • Above the Earth? • Moon in Taurus Sunday 19th: "Above the world the world-creators stand, In the phenomenon see its mystic source. Above the illusion of the hopes that pass, Behind the appearance and the overt act, Behind this clock-work Chance and vague surmise, Amid the wrestle of force, the trampling feet, Across the cries of anguish and of joy, Across the triumph, fighting and despair, They watch the Bliss for which earth's heart has cried Winding undetected through the scepic days And to meet it guide the unheedful moving world. Then the masked Transcendent mount his throne. A few shall see what none yet understands: God shall grow up while the wise men talk and sleep; For man shall not know the coming till its hour And belief shall be not till the work is done." Sri Aurobindo, Savitri, pp. 54-55 Moon in Taurus goes void-of-course at 8:46a PT until entering Gemini at 9:19a PT Cosmic Piper
