Mercury is about to turn retrograde (as I write on Monday) at 3:16p PT | 6:16p ET | 10:16p UT, until April 25, for 23 days.
Good or bad? Both. Good for deep spiritual search and psychic development. Bad, or hard, for everyday equanimity and routines. Because unexpected things keep turning up. Example: Today two different people knocked on my door when I was in the bathroom and could not answer. This has not happened for months, but it happened just before Mercury went retrograde. That planet has been slow, that is, in its Dark Hermetic Epoch, since March 19 (until May 13). People can "throw in the towel" more often during such two-month periods. I heard today that the revealer of scandals, James O'Keefe, is resigning from that difficult and dubious career this week. He admitted it was getting too hard to carry on and fight the legal battles which his sneak-interviews provoked. Others will quit or resign for other reasons and sometimes for good ones, sometimes when it might have been better to "carry on" through a difficult transition time.
"Change is in the air" is one way to put it. People move more often at such times. Have you been handling difficult issues concerning your home, or housework, during the past few days? More activity, some good and some fatiguing, on the internet or social media or texts or phone calls? That could be somewhat better Tuesday while Luna forms good aspects with Venus, Neptune, and Uranus. A party mood, or visiting with friends, could be healthy and uplifting. At the same time, you might be using your phone adroitly because of Luna's square with Mercury. Poise can be regained through friendliness even when things go "out of pattern" in unusual ways.
There is background concern about money, with Mars and Saturn together in a financial area of the daily chart, but not great loss for most. Rather, the long-lasting sextiles of Mars-Saturn with Jupiter-Uranus in Taurus, a money sign, make for steadiness in normal avenues for normal prosperity.
