° Ingenuous Hopes Protected °

A man sleeps on a bundle of clothes

While dangerous animals surround him.

A raven perched on a stone is morose,

Avaricious, revengeful, secretive, misanthropic.

Three mounds of knowledge on a philosopher's

Head reveal cosmic order within Prescience.

He may take his place in the midst of children

At play, fond of their simple amusements.

Each new complex of activity is met by

The human soul awaiting opportunity

for

Expression through ingenuousness.

The sun rising over the sea and a great

headland

Typifies someone with lofty opinions whose

Confident hopes shall not be frustrated.
