Message for Wednesday 21st October 2026
A Dark Hermetic Epoch lasts from October 4th through November 30th, represented by \ . Experiences during that time could be divided in three segments:
\ = Unusual things happen but they are okay, not upsetting.
\ < Unusual events can be disturbing or upsetting. People moan "Mercury must be retrograde." There are delays and interruptions, sometimes to the point of confusion or chaos. Despair could take over for a while.
\ > Unusual, out-of-pattern events are sometimes a welcome, interesting relief from boring routines. There is a trend toward inspiration or creativity.
It's probably impossible to predict whether a given day or hour will be \= or \< or \>. That depends on each of us individually. There is great mood-shifting power in fortitude and positive thinking.
Wednesday 21st:
• Pilgrimage toward Childlikeness •
Beside a dark pool shaded by dense foliage
A man surrenders to obscurity and gloom.
Then he bows his head, not in need of
Companions, a disillusioned pilgrim.
Humanity is seeking to bridge the span of
Knowledge, dramatizing rational potentials.
A woman standing on the head of a serpent enjoys
Great feminine fascinating power.
With ingenuousness the human soul
Awaits opportunity for expression,
Wholehearted in everyday adventure.
An adult is in the midst of a lot of children
At play, with great simplicity of manner
Enjoying childlike amusements.
• Pilgrimage toward Childlikeness •
