One might feel laborious, retiring, modest, intelligent, patient and firm. These qualities are said to be denoted by the unusual symbol "a man plowing with an ox in a field, at the back of which is a thick wood." The verdure sounds refreshing on a hot day. The keyword is Steadfastness.

"An orangutan" can rise to any occasion; the keyword is Dexterity, without any crudity or violence. One could "strip oneself to fundamentals and there stand proudly on one's own." 

One might do more for the public, or for unthankful individuals, than one does for oneself or those dependent on oneself. "A coach heavily laden with passengers" can provide a good experience if all are considerate of one another.

More happily, one might captain "a sailing ship on a calm sea. The sails are unreefed and the masts decorated with a profusion of bunting." "One will experience much happiness. 'Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.' One comes out from one's sphere of action with honor and plaudits."

The title of the Tuesday report was "Ominous Experimentation, or Gentility" In the Tuesday Breaking Points podcast, Saagar and Krystal reported what they called one of the most peculiar stories ever, about an illegal secret bio-agents lab in Fresno County, California, run by a Chinese citizen, filled with strange chemicals and mice for experimentation, just discovered and not understood. A symbol for the day, given in my report, was "a room full of machinery and jars of chemicals," given forth by the clairvoyant Charubel in the 1880s. He seemed to be up on what would happen in Kali-fornia a century and a half later.

Wednesday: "A new moon, but only the smallest portion of it to be seen in the western sky." Charubel says this shows hopes and anticipations of genius, "but nothing comes to maturity." It means we need to be patient.

We survived "a dagger" yesterday and it remains today. It happens to be the degree of Donald Trump's Mars, and Venus is there now while going retrograde, and people seem drawn to Trump's "dagger" qualities in dealing with the governmental swamp of the Deep State. He is up in the polls. Sepharial says of this degree, "Very executive, but by no means constructive in disposition, and hence liable to go though life like a tornado, remarked but not esteemed."

"A person with wig and gown" indicates "the law as a sphere of action" and we have the insidious "lawfare" in our politics, everybody indicting and suing everybody else, a very bad trend. But some "excel in forensic science and may attain eminence on those lines."

Mars was in the degree "A family tree" on Tuesday, and I found myself spontaneously thinking of and praying about relatives in this world and beyond, with the keyword Gentility. Today Mars occupies the Sabian degree "an ornamental handkerchief" with the keyword Gracefulness. Man has "a self-quickening desire for allegiance to a reality higher or finer than himself." "The knight could not enter the lists of chivalry without his lady's bit of lace as a talisman of the spirit." There could be "a refinement of manner and exceptional charm."

My candidate is RFK Jr. All of them are flawed in one way or another so we need to go with one who will protect our freedoms. Dr. Jones says "This is a symbol of the real weight of human personality as emphasized by the direct intervention of outstanding individuals in the affairs of their fellows." The keyword is Power. For each of us it can be "consistent effectiveness in demonstrating personal potentials."

"Two hands linked in a close grasp of friendship" is self-explanatory. Yesterday Luna was trine Venus, today trine Mars, and so male companions may be significant. We could be "filled with concord and goodwill toward our fellows---constructive, harmonizing and humane."

Also, there are heavy and deadly problems in Ukraine because Biden refuses to seek a rational ceasefire. There could be spying strategy in your personal life in one way or another. RFK Jr. says that the Secret Service has denied him protection.

"Two hands linked in a close grasp of friendship" could signal romance or maybe business partnership. Luna trine Venus all day and evening accent "those little greatnesses in daily life which make a person beloved, if not remarkable." Goodwill and amiability are mutually sustaining.

"A bride with her veil snatched away" suggests the inevitability of continuance in a relationship which has once been set in motion. There is mutual invitation to high rewards, shared with "purity in motive and a completely unconditioned fullness of self-giving."

There are record temperatures around the globe this month, and we have "a large ball of fire flying through the air." One might have "a special mission of an extraordinary character" and become "a ruler of men, and a giant - intellectually or morally if not physically."

The trafficking of children is getting more attention than I have ever seen. "A wolf is carrying away a lamb." Charubel says this indicates "deception, cunning, avarice and cruelty." It could be outright criminality, though for most of us it would be a warning against either succumbing to or perpetrating some exploitation of the innocent and weak.

Contrary to this are "two hands linked in a close grip of friendship." If, in most relationships, one is weaker and one stronger, still in some other area that may be reversed, and so each sustains the other. "Little greatnesses in daily life make a man or woman beloved." We can be, toward one another, "constructive, harmonizing and humane."

Venus retrograde, with tense aspects, could mean that we dwell on "almost" relationships and friendships, where someone is missing, maybe someone from our past, or a current contact who is "hard to figure." "A bride with her veil snatched away" could be someone surreptitiously or half-consciously inviting you to a closer link. Wednesday, as I write, is a mess. I do not like the moon being in Scorpio, which can be a wonderful sign for people born in it but the moon is uncomfortable there. Lawfare! Rudy Giuliani is replying to false charges about him. Hunter Biden has been denied an easy cop-out through a plea deal. Everybody knows DJT's troubles. Congress is supposedly investigating UFOs, again, and getting nowhere because the military are hiding things, even maybe dead bodies of aliens (Scorpio). One hopeful trend is that Bobby Kennedy (who has Mars and Saturn in Scorpio) is gaining in popularity according to Newsweek. At best Scorpio is a trouble-shooting sign, and that describes much of RFK's life and mission.

Thursday: I'm not following summer temperatures worldwide but we have "a number of men working in an almost nude state owing to the heat, in something like a forge, actually the engine room of a large steamer." Charubel says we ought to live very quietly in some settled and uniform mode of living without great responsibilities.

"Mathematical instruments on a table with a sheet of blank white paper" are waiting to be used, but we might get carried away into other pursuits which yield no satisfaction. Maybe it would be good to do budgeting or calculate finances in some way.

"A pennant or streamer such as used by mariners to indicate the course of the wind" could indicate weakness through vacillation or uncertainty. The moon in the Via Combusta can make us feel overwhelmed, with loss of morale. We change from one object to another and could be depressed and nervous.

And so why not make "a futurist drawing" since the present is being reshuffled? Elon Musk is supposed to replace, today, the familiar blue-bird Twitter icon with a black-X icon! Is that his drawing of the future? I hope not. The futurist drawing is an experiment toward "identifiable and personal uniqueness" shared with others. One expresses a distinctiveness which releases their personal capacities as well as one's own.

"An orange tree loaded with fruit" shows the availability of pleasures and luxuries. But Charubel warns, "The longest day ends in night!" In other words, know when to stop before things get out of hand and try to be moderate. One has fine tastes and could accomplish much.

Venus has turned retrograde. People are REviewing their relationships and friendships, and also their ways of gaining income. Mars in Virgo is opposite Saturn in Pisces, and as reported in the Thursday forecast, the moon is now, as I write on Thursday, in Virgo opposing Saturn, the difficult third of the week, and today a friend came over who is having a very hard time with his foot, Pisces, which he is medicating and wrapping in gauze.

2. Mars in Virgo, sign of grains, is opposite Saturn, sign of limitations and of shipping, and Russia has just announced it will block grain shipments from Ukraine. It has also said it will block any grain shipping on the Black Sea (Pisces rules the ocean or any large body of water).

3 I have had a lot of computer trouble today, and Thursday is, as I reported for you, the peak day of the |difficult third of the week| this week. If you're reading this on Friday things may be a little smoother; it ends Saturday forenoon.

4 As you can see, astrology is real.

The symbols for Friday:

Sisyphus is rolling his stone up the hill only to see it roll back down, then up again. This should be self-explanatory. Saturn rules rocks and heavy things; Mars rules effort. We keep trying.

A man is driving a bull or an ox. Not many of us are cattle dealers, but one might tame and use the animal forces of one's own body or of someone else's.

"A harem" is explained as a community group in which one person (male or female) governs or rules others linked to him or her by love or convenience or dedication. You are part of one or more such groups.

It seems hard for me to believe in the final symbol, where Venus is taking her vacation, "two golden circles tied together in a bow by a blue ribbon," representing Union. It may be subjective or in the realm of hopes and wishes. We long for good fortune in marriage or partnership, or at least for concord and amity with sincere friends.

Venus, slow turning retrograde, shall remain until July 27 in a degree symbolized by "Two golden circles joined by a blue ribbon tied in a double bow." This shows us loving peace, concord, and sincere friends, whether or not any relationship lives up to its promise. The desire for union is there whether or not it can be entirely fulfilled. One could be "fortunate in marriage" or this could be a long shot.

"A harem," rather than validating some male dream of endless adoring and compliant women, has the keyword Restraint, from the woman's point of view. There could be "an acceptance of regimentation as a species of insulation against life's demand for some more dynamic manifestation of the self." This might be a trade-off of freedom for security. There could be "an enforced conservation of energies" or else "a complete and courageous disregard of limitation by the rejection of its terms at any cost." That would be a symptom of Venus's long-lasting square (till the end of August) with Uranus, planet of personal liberty.

"Heaps of gold and silver coin" are, yes, richness in one way or another. "He will get money, and will know how to look after it. He could become a miser." Scrooge McDuck! We can rather be wise stewards of what the cosmos has graciously bestowed upon us.

! It's almost amusing to note that Venus started slowing down, slower than the sun appears to move in our geocentric view, just before the current Script Writers' Screen Guild and Screen Actors' Guild disputes and strikes, in Leo the sign ruling mass entertainment. She started slowing on May 30, that is, moving slower than the sun, goes retrograde on July 22 and finally turns direct on September 3. I won't predict that the strike will necessarily last that long but it may represent a prolonged period of negotiations. "I am Venus in Leo, I give you your entertainment, and I am weary of being mistreated so I am slowing down."

As for Mars opposite Saturn, I don't want to mention it every day but it is important, lasting through August 3. Here's some of what Robert DeLuce says : "This aspect increases ambition and daring but is inimical to sound judgment. There may be crime as perpetrator or victim. It may indicate merely a strenuous period in the life, when one meets with antagonism and difficulty. An unfavorable time to deal with engineers, soldiers or machinists. There may be loss or vexation concerning lands, mines, buildings or engineering projects." I personally have been suffering from an unusual amount of machine-caused and human-caused noise in my neighborhood, having to choose between open windows for cool fresh air or windows closed to keep out noise (a small example). It seems one has to give up something minor in order to gain what is major.

Wednesday's symbols:

"A merry-go-round" can mean "a continuous and senseless ricochet from one to another meaningless phase of self-expression." Better, it can be "pleasure as the simplest possible form of creative exchange."

One symbol in the weekly chart is "a giant amusing himself with a child's doll." Could that be us, relying on these zodiacal symbols to set our days or lives in order? Actually, I study Christian Science every morning and consider that more spiritually profitable and fortifying than what I write here. But this astrological approach has its use and its place.

Mars opposite Saturn, continuing until August 4, coincides with the final days of this current Bright Hermetic Epoch. It might be called, in and of itself, the hardest aspect in astrology. It means "carry on, do your work, don't flinch from it even when it seems boring or unsatisfying or unrewarding." It can also mean "Keep refining or fine-tuning your skills."

For those suffering illness it can mean "Keep your faith in a cure going even during what seems the crisis of the illness. That faith, and your sincere approach to the mercy of the Supreme, can carry you through the temporary suffering, which may be relieved by early August if not sooner."

Monday:

The tiny crescent moon often shows the time of month when we feel weary and benefit from extra rest. The New Moon occurs today at 11:33a PT | 2:33p ET | 6:33p UT. It takes at least a day after that for full energy and oomph to recur, but one might feel that one is inwardly refreshed or renewed.

"A falling star or meteor" indicates uncertainty. An aesthetic nature seems unsuited to daily life in its sterner routines. Yet one can rise above reversals and changes through patience.

Charubel has fun with "the letter Q appears," saying it indicates quibbling, querulousness and cantankerousness. Many are skeptical or quarrelsome, hyper-critical. It is good to trust what has proved trustworthy most of the time. Even a hypothetical foundation can be better than no foundation at all.

As for love-life, Venus has refrained from joining Mars and is going backward toward a renewed square with Uranus lasting through July and most of August. This is not helpful, superficially; it challenges love to accept the quirks and oddities of the loved one, yet when that is done there can be moments of euphoria. We have however a nice symbol today: "Two golden circles joined by a blue ribbon tied in a double bow." People are kind, benevolent, and fortunate in marriage, possibly marrying twice. They are idealists loving peace and concord, making many friends. The keyword is Union. We may see this work out in small ways today if not in large. (I am not writing about the war but wish the warmongers would respond to this vibration.)

Too good to be true? Well, "a man is dreaming of fairies." An imaginative outlook can help us. Whether fairies and angels are real in themselves, or are "the personified powers of the everyday world," they "instrument our efforts." "The dreams of men are the foretaste of human achievement."

The world has condemned cluster bombs, which kill civilians years after they are deposited in the landscape. But the U. S. has approved them for the suffering people and children of Ukraine. "This degree resembles a bad mixture of Saturn and Mars" says Charubel. As a matter of fact, those two planets are opposed to each other through August 3. We should be wary, and "screw up" our faith in and obeisance to the Supreme.

"A colored child playing with white children" should be, now, "A child of color playing with bland colorless children" or some such equivalent. The "actual illimitability of human relationships is dramatized here." The keyword is Intimacy.

"Two hands linked in a close grip of friendship" indicate that we could be "amiable and social, filled with concord and goodwill towards our fellows." The vibration is "essentially constructive, harmonizing, humane and sustaining."

"A strong castle on a high rock. On the castle's battlements is a flag, extended in the wind, with a crown upon it." "A strong, masterly character, of great endurance, stability and daring; ambitious of honor and capable of withstanding enemies while achieving greatness and fame."

We're in the final day of an Old Moon when things seem lazy. Extra rest could be wise. The first symbol carries the emblem of a crescent moon into tomorrow, the first day of the New when things are still premature: "Only the smallest portion of a new Moon, seen in the western sky." There is early promise, "but nothing comes to maturity" in this particular cycle.

However, "a horseman armed is moving across a desert toward some woody hills." He is independent, self-willed and daring. He carries out designs conceived by himself without the aid or companionship of others. Venturesome and self-reliant, he may be somewhat estranged, taciturn and self-contained.

However, "a child of color is playing with white children" and so there can be Intimacy. "Differences embraced in mutual appreciation become the basis of all conscious being or individual satisfaction." "There are no facets of character that cannot be built into the fabric of a whole self and an integrated group."

"Two hands linked in a close grip of friendship" are sustaining "those little greatnesses in daily life which make one beloved." There could be "large associations for social co-operation or intellectual improvement." At any rate, personal relations are "constructive, harmonizing and humane."

"A quantity of toys or common ornaments of glass and tinsel" "denotes a proud person, fond of the artificial and highly superficial." Zelensky of Ukraine? "One of a fretful and peevish disposition, creating misery wherever he or she may reside." Just give me some more weapons and don't ask what they are used for or who dies or is maimed by them. Have you, dear reader, seen the video of a young Ukrainian man being manhandled and beaten while being conscripted to fight in a war probably resulting in his death or disablement? And are you pleased that your tax dollars are being used, in the billions, to support this?

"A large ball of fire flying through the air" could be the cluster bombs Americans (you?) have decided to give to Zelensky even though they are banned by many nations as cruel and inhumane because they often kill children who find them. There is a better interpretation of the symbol: "One who has a special mission of an extraordinary character who shall become a ruler of men, and a giant among men--intellectually or morally, if not physically." I do not believe this is Putin or Zelensky or Biden but it could be R. F. Kennedy Jr. who learned of the horror of war from his uncle and father and has vowed to end the warfare state if elected. His voice on the many interviews with him may not seem strong but is the strongest of all morally and ethically and patriotically.

We and the world need, desperately, "Two angels bringing protection." Dr. Jones: "This is a symbol of the absolute certainty which any individual may develop in the terms of his conscious faith, and of the power in human character which becomes the hallmark of his or her spiritual orientation." The keyword is Security. "High-mindedness here pays very pleasant dividends."

We long for "two hands linked in a close grip of friendship." Despite the |difficult third|, which contains heavy moods, we might link with someone 'amiable and social, of a kind benevolent nature." She or he "is capable of those little greatnesses in daily life which make a man or woman beloved, if not remarkable." We may be, along with others, despite problems, "constructive, harmonizing, and humane."
