A person climbing a steep hill in the dark 

Is allured by nothing but a falling star. 

He may as well have been wading through 

Knee-deep mud, abortive hopes. 

By a dark pool of water shadowed by 

Dense foliage, he yields to obscurity and gloom.

But there are unmobilizedd resources,

primitive 

Powers akin to an orangutan's dexterity. 

Summoning those, he resembles a hen scratching 

For her chicks. Normality is exalted by 

Human creativity providing for younger ones. 

Men and women in festive attire are assembled

Together and talking. Associations formed casually 

Bring together those mutually advantageous.
