~Comfort in "Last Resort"~

I had a conversation with Stephen Hawking last night.
Or, if you prefer, I seemed to have one with him; or I believed that I was briefly in touch with his consciousness, which was very much alive and responsive.
I am weary of pretending that there is no such thing as psi or after-death communications with those who have passed on. I have recommended, at least three times here, a book by Leslie Kean, Surviving Death, which is only a few months old and which is virtually a textbook on what is known about after-death connections and functioning (whether through mental mediumship, physical mediumship, or just psychic contact such as what I am reporting here). Reading it would permanently change and improve your way of thinking about what happens after death.
It matters not to me if skeptics say I am just fantasizing about a conversation with Stephen Hawking. I am not making any claims, just reporting it as I experienced it:
I had just seen the news that he had passed on. It was very late at night here, so in the wee hours in Britain where he had been living. I sat for a very long time reading good articles about him and his life and research (in the New York Times). What an amazing life! What amazing determination to overcome a formidable handicap. I felt that I had to look at his horoscope, which I had never done, and looked up his birth information, January 8, 1942. I spent quite a while pondering his chart, and then felt his presence. I saw him as if in his wheelchair. Why? When people pass on, they can assume a number of different forms, and the form they assume might be different to different perceivers. We are dealing with another dimension where the outlines of things are malleable. People would probably see him as he looked when in his body, because that is the mental link they have to him. That does not mean that he remains in that shape or condition literally. We are units of consciousness which manifest in various ways according to times, places, and purposes.
My belief is that when "on the other side" people can be in more than one place at once, and have "conversations" or contacts with more than one person at once, at least sometimes. Why would Hawking, who so far as I know did not believe in astrology (in fact perhaps condemned it as a silly superstition as did Carl Sagan), listen to me, an astrologer? I think because I had established a ink with his consciousness by thinking about him deeply for about an hour and studying his chart. He responded to that. On the inner planes, we are inked by consciousness not by location. As the conversation seemed to happen, I merely "remarked" to him (without many words) that he had a wonderful horoscope and that he had done an amazing job of living it out at its best. He nodded and seemed interested and appreciative. I "spelled out" some of the chart's wonderful features to him (grand trine in earth signs including Mercury the mental planet; good aspect between Mars and Venus showing his two marriages and his children; good aspect between Jupiter and Venus in air [mental] signs showing his success at writing and lecturing; and the difficult square of Venus with Saturn which had a lot to do with his disability; and more) and he "listened."
I then said, "You theoretical physicists have to learn how to suspend judgment much of the time, when there is sketchy evidence. Unfortunately, some, rather than doing that, jump to conclusions. I think that perhaps you are wisely suspending judgment about astrology."
His gaze at me was wonderful. Not a silly smile, but that deep seriousness which always seemed to possess him, a penetrating gaze with a slight frown, very thoughtful. Yet kindly. He nodded again, looked at me through that profound yet friendly visage and said, "I think you may be on to something." I heard this as if actual words.
That was a lot, coming from him! I felt, "This is enough." I did not want to weary him; he must have had plenty of other things to "do" in his new life. Yet he did not rush away. So I added, "Some day you physicists and we astrologers could work together to figure some things out. It would be wonderful to work with you, if that ever becomes possible." He remained in contact, and friendly, but offered no direct response to the statement. I was letting go of him and yet as I lay back to get some sleep, he seemed to be hovering in the air above me and I blessed him and felt pleased with the contact, wherever it might lead or not lead.
Within freedom, there can be a pursuit of truth, and if that pursuit is genuine, it does not interfere with anyone else's freedom. I believe that he and I both knew this and that is one reason we respected each other.

A woman of beautiful and kind countenance, standing alone, and but half covered with a robe which falls from the left shoulder. Soft, gentle, and amiable. Addicted to acts of kindness and charity. May be led astray by desiring to please others. Beauty and Gentleness. b
The president of the country. Idealization. s
I am struck by the subtle or subliminal messages these symbols seem to be sending. The "post-mortem examination" could be, lifted from a merely physical aspect, the outpouring of praise for Stephen Hawking. May he be blessed in his new life. The woman at the tombstone carries out that theme, and sorrow is appropriate sometimes. But it is wonderful that Hawking lived to be 76, considering his enormous physical obstacles. He himself said it was "the spirit" which kept him going.
And he was like "the fat boy mowing the lawn" in that he kept up and kept on, participating in human life and the life of the intellect to the very best of his ability. (It might be said that the fat boy also has a sort of disability.)
The beautiful and kind woman, addicted to acts of charity, is the direct opposite of the agitator who wants a revolution rather than the sort of charity he might despise. According to him, the government should do everything to ensure everyone's well-being, while according to her there is no substitute for personal kindness. It sounds familiar as a political theme or dilemma that never seems to go away.
Who could help to resolve all that? "The president of the country?" We might hope--if he were worthy of idealization.
There is a sort of peacefulness in the background, rather comforting, if we can tune in to it, with the moon forming fairly smooth aspects from Pisces while close to Neptune and the sun therein. Pisces is the sign of "last resort" at the end of the year, before Spring, and we may well pray to the Highest.
