• From Cruelty to Kindness • All must beware of morose magic. It might seem like simple justice when it is actually unspeakably evil. Deliberate cruelty is the greatest sin. It can get a foothold in those who, looking into the wrong end of a telescope, see everyone else as less than or worse than themselves and so become traducers, egotists and slanderers. Another hard symbol for the day is "a column of smoke ascending on a gigantic scale, followed by a terrible burst of flame." The Iran war needs a conclusion. Let us pray for answers from the meeting in Pakistan of officials from Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia seeking to mediate. "A woman of pleasant face holds a sword pointing earthward." She conquers enemies through native force and diplomacy. "The president of the country" has to know the meaning of self-sacrifice in order to succeed. He should shun destructive assertiveness or vain pretense. The keyword is Idealization. "Spiritist phenomena" could actually be "conscious cooperation with the potentials of an immortal reality." The keyword is Sensitivity. Beauty and Gentleness are the keywords of "a woman of beautiful and kind countenance standing alone, half covered with a robe falling from her left shoulder."
