• Siesta toward Lightness or Practicality •

Those parentless, or seemingly so,

Can find at last a heavenly Parent.

A noon siesta provides moments of inner

Reorientation and recuperation.

Are an old-fashioned woman and an up-to-date girl

Competing or cooperating within their Contrast?

A dark-looking being is behind the back of

A restless woman endangered by obsession.

She could instead take it light, imitating

Others from behind a mummer's mask,

flaunting

Theatrical comedy, foolishness and flattery.

Others, more sober, carry sheaves of corn,

Fruit of their labors as practical benefactors of the

Race, good members of society.

• Recovery of Dignity and Enchantment •

Arm in a sling? Head bandaged? Misfortune's

Temporary, recovery real.

The desolation of orphans is

Neglect for a while, distinction later.

A roughly hewn pillar of black marble

Signifies a solitary life.

Personality achieves stability at the threshold of risk.

Rock formations make a precipice safe.

Children blowing soap bubbles find the

Beautiful and good everywhere, so that

Transcendental magic becomes Enchantment.

A naked boy has a crown on his head

And a scepter in his hand, heralding

Innocency, dignity, and future greatness.

Saturday October 3rd:

• Developing Morale •

A centaur with bow and arrow is changeful,

Simulating varied virtues and vices.

An ancient shepherd with crook in hand

Is sagacious amid mountain scenery.

Those of any age need parenting

To overcome orphanhood's despair.

A professor peering over his glasses has

Specialized to the point of quiet mastery.

Unfailing faith, glorious hope and kindly

Charity constitute a trefoil for the

benefit

Of our advancing human race.

A man formally dressed and a deer

With folded horns illustrate self-assertion

Winning esteem through outstanding Morale.

Who takes the place of a parent or guardian

For you? Are you reared among strangers?

What tendencies in you could bring on

Imprisonment or self-seclusion?

A minor modification perfects personal ambition

When a woman decides on a new hairstyle.

Some risks must be accepted, yet a canoe

Approaches safety through dangerous waters.

Not a roaring waterfall but a lovely

Garden of flowers pleases some with good

Taste and fine sensibilities.

What is the signature of a true magician with great

Will power? The interlaced triangles of

Fond of the occult and mystical.

A gladiator, ready for the fray, should know that

Self-command is the greatest conquest.

An infection like an epidemic of mumps.

Are challenged to transcend orphanhood.

A maiden weeping over a grave is melancholy

And retiring, devoid of family and friends.

A blazing fireplace in a deserted home

Challenges all to enist in Guardianship.

An artist's conception of a heart suggests

Someone affectionate and unselfish,

Confiding, much influenced by others.

"The true lover's knot" links a person with

Strong feelings to someone who does not fully

Reciprocate such profound soul depths.

Sharp susceptibility to infection is like

Through self-assertion gains distinction.

Hard work develops patient endurance,

Self-government, and ultimate reward.

An Irresistible expression of creativity.

The ideals of a man could be abundantly

Crystallized in meaningful Personification.

Saturday 26th:

• Amiability •

With a broken plow in an open field, a man

Suffers privation and menial work.

If he takes up inconsequential love

affairs,

He's pointlessly intent yet nonchalant.

If he grasps a knife, he could excel as

A carver, engraver or artist.

Some resemble herons with sensitive, fine

Perceptions; keen and never apathetic.

Faithful to standards of proved worth, a

Glories in Inheritance. Skillfully

She builds everyday morale and takes her place

In a group around a campfire. No

Exactions, just Amiability.

Bluntness and impracticality attend

A broken mallet on a carpenter's bench.

But grande dames at tea pass on what

A well-fed animal has no ambition but

With contentment and happiness in luxury, people

Read on davenports. Repose strengthens them.
