\Befriending the Doubtful/

Moon in Taurus

It is hard to fathom what people want. Do we ever really know? Our tastes and predilections are so very different that we can only see others' reactions and feelings in the mirror of our own, and that makes it rather blurry most of the time. We are as naive as "children playing around five mounds of sand."

If there are intensified feelings of questioning or animus in someone, this could be "a storm in a canyon" or make both of you rise to the occasion somehow.

Mysterious or spiritual topics may become relevant through friendly contacts, even though you and those contacts see not eye to eye.

The eye-candy of the glamorously famous (or the eye-blight of the notorious) could jump out at you for your sensibility-consumption or rejection ("Beautifully gowned wax figures").

I keep mentioning astrology because Mars in Aquarius is at a degree which Charubel says is specially connected with that topic. On Instagram (which I joined on a day the moon was void of course, giving me more freedom and impetus to try something different) I see some fascinating input from someone called Astrology Stuff, with dozens or sometimes hundreds of comments in reply to observations about sun-signs or moon-signs. People are way ahead of the standard media, which never publish anything about astrology except their mostly silly commercial sun-sign predictions. People are aware that astrology is valid, whether or not teachers, professors, or media moguls agree.

There are opportunities to estimate how you may become more positive and eminent, by giving more to people through your specialized area.

Luna in Taurus in good aspect to Neptune and Saturn suggests docility and tractability, in relation to one's own projects at least, though one may have to reject anything critical coming from outside in order to stay with one's task faithfully.

Anthony Bourdain: Fascinating Highlights of his Horoscope

I was not familiar with Anthony Bourdain and his TV show and his writing until his passing (by suicide) and today I have been pondering his life as reported in the New York Times. He was found dead on Friday during a |Karmically difficult or sobering third| of a week (this week), re-emphasizing the fact that these periods are real and important and can be decisive, which is why I point them out to you every week.  Things look gloomier than they really are at those points. I cannot know the reasons for Mr. Boudain's decision, but his mother and others who knew him said that he was wealthy, free to do whatever he pleased, and had seemed very happy.

I am not setting out on a complete "reading" of his chart, which would take hours. But I have been looking at it and will mention some highlights, especially some of the symbolic degrees.

Mercury is the high-focus planet in a vise-shaped chart (one empty square) and its symbol, 12 Gemini 13 (represented as 12 in the chart but read as 13 in the books which set forth the symbols because 0 Gemini is Gemini 1): According to Borelli and Sepharial:  "Two wolves are devouring a carcass in the moonlight.  One of a crafty, subtle nature . . . The native will lead a roaming and unsettled life. It is a degree of Voracity and Self-seeking."   This fits beautifully. The voracity is shown by Bourdain's saying that he had been determined to try, taste, and eat anything, any dish which anyone prepared anywhere in the world, not shrinking from what many of us would find repulsive or disturbing.  The wolfishness of his sensibility might be described here by himself, as quoted by Pete Wells in the NYT: " “Good food, good eating, is all about blood and organs, cruelty and decay,” he wrote in the opening sentence of that [first famous] New Yorker piece, and it set the tone for all the work that followed."

His sun is at the degree 3 Cancer 4; in Borelli's symbols: "A well-appointed table, with the remnants of a feast lying upon it.  A person of worldly tendencies, with an appetite for the good things of life, which will not be denied. Extravagant and reckless prone to all kinds of excess and passionate impulses . . . Has a certain richness of heart and camaraderie, but goodwill finds expression mostly through the sensuous nature.  It is a degree of Sensuality."  Again, his own words confirm this. He went to Vassar College where he was following a girlfriend, "where he spent long nights drinking and smoking pot. He dropped out after two years. “I was — to be frank — a spoiled, miserable, narcissistic, self-destructing and thoughtless young lout,” he wrote in “Kitchen Confidential.”  (NYT article by   Kim Severson, Matthew Haag and Julia Moskin)

Finally, the degree for his Venus is revealing, 28 Gemini 29, again Borelli's symbol with Sepharial's interpretation: "A gloomy sky filled with scudding clouds. A flight of blackbirds are struggling against the wind.  A person of pessimistic nature; one who will abandon his many projects for want of hope and perseverance. An endless succession of thoughts and schemes, but always in the black mantle of doubt and misgiving. . . Prolix, versatile, but lacking in continuity. . . . It is a degree of Doubt and Change."  Now the final sentence in Pete Wells's article, again quoting Bourdain himself:  “Life is complicated. It’s filled with nuance. It’s unsatisfying,” he once said. “If I believe in anything, it is doubt.”

Cosmic Piper

P. S. Ever the hopeful reformer, more than the gloomy soothsayer, I have to add that in my view Bourdain's life could have ended more happily and after another decade or three if he had known his own horoscope and all of the symbolic degree symbols in it (not just the three I have pointed out) and learned from them something about possible destinies he could have invoked rather than the one he did. However, I judge not, and perhaps his life was just what it had to be, for one lifetime. He is now preparing for another, according to my deeply held convictions.

^From Dejection to Difference-Stimulation^

Moon in Aries-->Taurus
|Karmically sobering third| of this week ends at 7:10a PT | 10:10a ET | 2:10p
/moon goes void-of-course at 12:38p PT | 3:38p ET | 7:38p UT
until it enters Taurus at 9:05p PT | 12:05a(Su) ET | 3:05a(Su) UT

Theoretically, plans should be made or agreed upon before the v-of-c period begins. After that, there might be unexpected changes in them.

The unusual is emphasized. Human beings are oddly odd to one another (squares to Uranus from both Mars and Venus). Yet this makes for the fascination of human life. If we rebel against it too much, there is anger and separation. If we get hypnotized by it, there is strange, surprising attraction which could end in strange, surprising separation. Yet something has been gained.

We need to be alert to what would be in our best interest rather than open to any influence at all; yet can enjoy or appreciate the play of unusual influences (previous paragraph) if not getting lost in them. There could be relaxation and self-indulgence, not wrong if restorative repose.

Dejection because of blighted hopes should be temporary. We can recover. Even seeing the glory in a human face or figure could be enough. Friendship can be direct and obvious, or indirect and subtle as in people-watching, movies, etc.

To know astrology is to be free from some of the impediments of Time, just as having a map frees one from Space-impediments.  Reversals and uncertainties are seen to be temporary. Rather than upsetting they become interesting or challenging in a happy way.

P. S.  Meanwhile, and under all astrological conditions, prayer to the Highest is a sine qua non.  Those who feel that God is their enemy are afraid to pray. But Psalm 136 says, twenty-six times, "His love endures for ever."

^Trusting One's Best Judgment^

Moon in Aries
|Karmically difficult or challenging third| of this week continues (until Saturday at 7:10a PT | 10:10a ET | 2:10p UT)
The intensest point of the |difficult third|, astronomically, will be early Friday at 3:58a PT | 6:58a ET | 10:58a UT. And so the 24 hours which might be the hardest of the week, from one viewpoint, extend 12 hours on either side of that moment, beginning Thursday in late afternoon or early evening (in the Western Hemisphere) until Friday at the same time.

Human relations may be going into a more tenuous trend now that Venus is leaving her trine with Jupiter and applying to a square with Uranus. Differences are accentuated. "You are pretty weird." Or else, better, "I appreciate your unusual qualities."

The squares of the sun and Mercury with Neptune, continuing, sometimes require more rest or snooze than usual. We need to "get right with" our hidden internal processes subconsciously and physiologically. Still, Mars's squares with Uranus and now Jupiter (coming up) give a need to expend energy when possible, so periods of intense exercise could alternate with extra rest periods.

Just past the center of a Bright Hermetic Epoch (May 3 through July 6), we can still evaluate and codify and solidify our daily and weekly scheduling and our agenda and plans for the next month at least. This is aided today by Luna's sextiles with the sun and Mercury. They help to counteract the |difficult third| which is usually a high-anxiety time, by helping us think realistically rather than fearfully. Then we can link with our deeper destiny in an impressive way.

The impact of striking figures and bodies on our consciousness is also impressive.

If interested in astrology, you may have a good time pursuing it. Sharing its insights enhances human mutual understanding.

Yet a somewhat independent, purposive loner trend is not wrong: "A horseman armed, moving across a desert towards some woody hills." This is partial estrangement, yet venturesomeness and self-reliance.

Am I writing this for anyone?

Who is Cosmic Piper?

There is a limit to what I can do as Cosmic Piper. I took the job because no one else applied for it. But now it appears that no one is reading my posts so I don't know why I am posting them.

I am a preacher of GOD, or G*d, my preferred way of mentioning Him.

Only incidentally am I an astrologer.

And since I am writing for atheists, we do not get along and perhaps I should cease writing for them.

Time will tell.

~Sharp Perception and Hardy Things~

Moon in Pisces-->Aries
/moon goes void-of-course at  [11:36p(W) PT] | 2:36a ET | 6:36a UT]
until it enters Aries at 2:27p PT | 5:27p ET | 9:27p UT
|Karmically difficult or challenging third| of this week is here (until Saturday morning)
The intensest point of that, astronomically, will be early Friday at 3:58a PT | 6:58a ET | 10:58a UT. And so the 24 hours which might be the hardest of the week, from one viewpoint, extend 12 hours on either side of that moment, beginning today in late afternoon or early evening (in the Western Hemisphere) until Friday at the same time.

We have just passed the center of the Bright Hermetic Epoch extending from May 3 through July 6. This is a time when we can consciously organize or regulate things with maximum efficiency, before the next Dark Hermetic Epoch which begins July 7 and shall last through September 1. The days at the BHE's center, as the past week and through this weekend, are specially good for thinking about what you are doing, how it is going, and making plans or settling into good plans you have already evolved. Your judgment is likely to be "on."

Thursday:

An astrological chart in square form.   One fond of Astrology; a just, kind person.   c  / Astrology intelligently pursued develops kindness and compassion because it develops the understanding that each individual has a distinctive pattern or role to fulfill; not someone else's.

Beautifully gowned wax figures.   Impact.   s   /  The continuing Grand Trine in water signs among Jupiter, Neptune and Venus develops appreciation of beauty.

A flying arrow.   Lofty aspirations, keen mental powers, penetration and executive ability. Will cut out his own line in life and excite attention.  May, by his destiny, fail in achieving the result aimed at.    Execution.   b  / Mercury square Neptune could divert some mental energies into daydreaming, yet its other good aspects, such as a bi-quintile with Jupiter, suggest sharp thinking and "cutting out a line in life."

A round temple with pointed roof.   Partial to the outward observances of religious rites; very superstitious regarding its mysteries.   c  / This can be the strong Neptune aspects, plus Luna in Pisces. Everyone needs something or someone or some conception of things to lean on, whether or not it is adequate to the heights of G*d himself (herself).

Meeting of a literary society.   Criticism.   s   Mercury and sun in Gemini (often literary) both quadri-nonagen (good aspect) Saturn in Capricorn, a critical sign.

The number 6 rules this degree.   A purely mercurial person; an expert in all mercurial employments.   c   / More emphasis of the Bright Hermetic (Mercurial) Epoch. Let us think well and map things out.

A man standing upon a mountain with a staff in his hand. The setting sun show his figure in relief.   Aspiring tendencies, fond of adventure and doing hardy things. A unique character or striking personality. Will attract attention in latter years of life by prowess or the use of natural powers. Maybe mountaineering or geographical discovery. A great pedestrian. Danger in middle of career, but avoiding danger will terminate things extremely well.   Elevation.   b   / Saturn in Capricorn, its own sign, is very well-aspected and Capricorn seems to be a sign of mountains or mountain-climbing. For the rest of us, "doing hardy things" sounds good so long as we avoid danger (|difficult third|).

The symbols and their interpretation are intended to apply basically during the hours from dawn to midnight. Often a planet will move from one degree to another during the day, so I use a time near mid-afternoon for all of them, so that they shall be exactly right during most, often all, of the daylight hours. The period from midnight to dawn could partake of the nature of either day or both.

Moon in Pisces
/moon goes void-of-course at 11:36p PT | [2:36a(Th) ET | 6:36a(Th) UT]

"In preparing for battle, I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable." --Dwight Eisenhower (quoted in USA Today and The Week)  Eisenhower was sun-sign Libra, an air sign and a cardinal one. It has to be up for immediate changes and crises and changes of plan. And is often excellent at that, although of course it could go wrong if too dependent on momentary "straws in the wind." The "indispensable planning," constantly alert, is the readiness of the cardinal signs (plus the fluidity of air in the case of Libra). The "useless plans" could be a vice of the fixed signs.

"Even when all the experts agree, they may well be mistaken."--Bertrand Russell  (quoted in BlockIsland Times and The Week)  As they are in regard to astrology, of course!

You can't keep a good man down, but a good man is hard to find.

Misunderstanding of G*d, infinite and omnipotent justice and love, is the cause of all human misery.

Those who worship and adore themselves more than the Supreme (I have been guilty of it more often than I have acknowledged) are still caught in the coils of the false ego.

I don't read self-help books.  I read God-help books.

Wednesday:

I have noted in the past that squares to the planet Neptune can correlate to tiredness or extra sleeping. A friend said that he had trouble sleeping last night and needs to catch up however he can today. I also felt that way although I had slept well and just got up from an unexpected nap. The sun and Mercury are both exactly square Neptune. This might mean that subconsciously we are trying to connect with higher dimensions and the only way we know how to do that is in sleep, at this point in our human evolution. Being comatose for a while could be anastasis, resurrection.

A man asleep in the heat of the day; some implements beside him.   Unsuccessful. Indolence, lack of interest and energy, prove the source of misfortune. Mid-life will be bright and happy; but dreaming when he should be working will make later life sorry.   Indolence.   b

A broken pitcher lying upon the ground with spilled fruit around it.   Unpractical, following vain pursuits of no lasting benefit. Loss of powers or faculties.   Impotence.   b   / These first two symbols present the familiar advice to keep on with work, as if our clairvoyant friends were workaholics and expected all others to be likewise. Well, if the shoe fits . . .  The squares of Mercury and the sun to Neptune, already mentioned, could act like "spilled fruit" if we get too indolent, as could the moon's presence in Pisces, sometimes sign of the dreamer, with Neptune.

A woman awaiting a sailboat.   Equanimity.   s   / Here is a more appropriate Neptunian response. Who can argue with equanimity? And sometimes just waiting is better than futile hurried hustling.  This symbol is a dead ringer for the long-lasting Grand Trine in water signs. We feel sure that sailboat is coming.

A child born of an eggshell.   Essentiality.   s   /  'All can be done if the God-touch is there."  --Sri Aurobindo

A red flame, ascending upward to a great height.   Denotes a person possessed with ardent desires. An enthusiast to the cause he espouses. A true friend and an open enemy.   c   Mars square Uranus, diminishing but still present, has been frankness toward friends and frenemies, but this has not been violent in most cases. Enthusiasm is good.

A square, containing twelve small squares, resembling the breast-plate of the Jewish high priest.   Reverential and devotional. Very secretive, a student of the occult, and one capable of mighty deeds as a magician.   c   /This takes Neptune to a surprisingly commanding level of potency.  Reverential magic is the highest.

A crown and sceptre.   Entitled to more than he possesses, and has powers of which he is unconscious.   c  /  I can't help mentioning that at a lower level this could signify the King-complex of Donald Trump. There was an opinion piece in the NYT saying that he thinks he is a king, now that he claims the power even to pardon himself. He became conscious of powers which perhaps the presidency has but which he hadn't exploited yet. However, let's take this symbol at a personal and happy level. Let it, and Charubel's interpretation, speak to you.

~Beyond Futility to Blessing~

Moon in Aquarius-->Pisces
/moon void-of-course until it
enters Pisces at 3:55a PT | 6:55a ET | 10:55a UT

It's not lost on me that many who formerly read and liked these forecasts have more or less abandoned them since I started posting the seven symbols for the day. I conclude that they have not found their way to using and appreciating them. So I am trying to do what I can to make that smoother. For example, I usually put the hardest ones first so we can consider the warnings, and then the "nice" ones which provide a remedy or cure for what preceded. However, some may read the first two or three and decide that they are too bleak and depressing, and not even go on to the "good" ones. Today I am adding some comments after each /.

A waning moon, amid a bank of clouds, dimly reveals a ship at sea, but all disabled.   Roving, unsettled habits. Ill-fortune leads to many pursuits in quest of wealth. May end up badly placed with little hope of improvement. Much aptitude and versatility, but not much perseverance or hopefulness. Passes from bad to worse instead of improving what he holds.   Instability.   b   / We all may know someone who is temporarily in straits like this--going off in a speculative direction rather than staying with what he or she already has going. Maybe we have no right to judge that, yet this symbol could clue us to what might be going on in someone, or even in ourselves, and then we can ponder and pray and try for better outcomes.

A man sitting upon his heels and breaking stones with a hammer.   Few resources and small intellectual powers. From lack of ability or through misfortune will be able to bring little to fruition. May labor much to little profit.   Unfruitfulness.    b   / Of course we don't have to accept blindly anything negative.  This one might clue us to give up some minor activity wasting our time, for example.  What seem in the symbols o be warnings about a whole lifetime are in these daily reports merely warning-suggestions for one day, in a lighter vein than they seem in the original language. I am depending on you to understand that and work with it.

A man on the roof of a building putting slates on it; and another carrying the slates up a long ladder.   Ever engaged in such deeds as tend to benefit the community. A lover of peace, and promoter of all good works.   c   / This is a self-explanatory remedy for the previous two symbols. The individual is no longer just "breaking stones" but doing something useful to all. This could inspire us to keep on with some good work we have already started.  It may be cooperative, as two individuals are needed for the task described.

A child born of an eggshell.   Essentiality.   s    /  I like this one, but I don't try to "figure it out."  Let your mind roam into intuitive regions. The "child" could be someone you know or yourself. What is essential, or of the essence, in her or him could be wonderful.

A prima donna singing.   Excellence.   s   / A little pride in one's talent, yet maybe justified pride.  What is wrong with trying to be excellent at what one does?

A red flame, ascending upward to a great height.   Denotes a person possessed with ardent desires. An enthusiast to the cause he espouses. A true friend and an open enemy.   c   / I felt this symbol when posting some things on Facebook about which I was not very confident, but when I posted them I felt that I had acted like a "true friend"--not an "open enemy," but being fearless and unafraid of how people might misinterpret what I posted. "This is it--if you want to be inimical, that's your issue."

A crown and sceptre.   Entitled to more than he possesses, and has powers of which he is unconscious.   c   / Too good to comment upon.  May it be a blessing.

}Lazy Entitlement?{

Moon in Aquarius

/moon goes void-of-course at [10:11p(Su) PT | 1:11a ET | 5:11a UT

Since Uranus entered Taurus we have had a lot of all-day void-of-course moons, because Uranus at the very end of Aries was "fielding" the moon's rays, but now no more. You can estimate for yourself what these mean to you. Of course life goes on and often there will not be remarkable problems, although one may sense that things are more fluid and a little less purposive or that one needs to be more flexible in one's schedules and designs.

A rapid inland stream which might be called a narrow river.   An active temperament, restless disposition. Self-willed, of a turbulent temper. A shallow thinker.   c

A woman holding a bundle of faggots, her hair loose and disordered by the wind. She wanders in search of something.   Versatile and eccentric. Disposed to undertake more than able to compete. Brilliant through wide learning, or impotent through vexation and trouble.   Confusion.   b

A man dressed as a groom, riding upon a spirited horse.   General aptitude, quick perception, steady mind and able body. Will serve the cause of truth: maybe as a teacher or priest or connected with the Church. Success, but not pre-eminence.  A useful though obscure life.   Service.   b

A child born of an eggshell.   Essentiality.   s

A crown and sceptre.   Entitled to more than he possesses, and has powers of which he is unconscious.   c

A hidden choir singing.   Worship.   s

A girl's face breaking into a smile.   Acquiescence.   s

The first two are neatly indicative of the void-of-course syndrome all day. They sound like exactly what happens often at such a time.

The last four are quite nice and should be inspiration for whatever is motivating you at this point in your life.

{Monday}  {Lazy Entitlement?}

P. S. Conscience warns me against the title I gave this report, because after all "lazy entitlement" is what can subtly undermine a profession, business, government or person. (Therefore the question mark.) Yet it is something which might be in the cards or stars as a temptation, and if met with the right spirit could be harmless respite from too much worry or overweening concern. If one's mind is set on right principles, one will do good things effortlessly.

}All Smiles?{

Moon in Aquarius
/moon goes void-of-course at 10:11p PT | 1:11a(M) ET | 5:11a(M) UT

A man in a mask stands beneath the shadow of a tree at night. At his feet there is a dead cow.   Wily, acquisitive, using doubtful means in the pursuit of wealth. Excess of caution and self-regard, but liable to be deceived in his own powers.   Plunder.   b

I see a number of quadrangular figures, consisting of straight lines forming an oblong quadrilateral, with two triangles on the top.  It appears to assume the form of a cube.   Possesses vast powers of intellect. An accurate reasoner; a profound philosopher; will make an impression on the age in which he lives.   c

A child born of an eggshell.   Essentiality.   s

An escutcheon containing a harp and a gauntlet.   Noble aspirations and refined tastes Family is connected with the musical or military worlds. Will have tastes in one or the other direction. Aptitude in either. In music, performance rather than composition. A peculiar admixture of gentleness and irritability, of playfulness and gravity, which make the native difficult to deal with.   Execution.   b

A crown and sceptre.   Entitled to more than he possesses, and has powers of which he is unconscious.   c

A priest performing a marriage ceremony.   Conformity.   s

A girl's face breaking into a smile.   Acquiescence.   s

Along with the quite fortunate symbols goes Luna's trine with Mercury and the sun (from Aquarius to Gemini). The sweeter symbols could be a fleshing-out of Venus's wonderful Grand Trine with Jupiter and Neptune. The sun and Mercury tri-septile Saturn and Jupiter suggest deeper more serious concerns (the "profound philosopher") and yet they have a friendly flavor by position. Let's make the most of what could be a wonderful day.

\Consciousness Smoothly Unfolding/

Moon in Capricorn-->Aquarius
/moon is void-of-course
until it enters Aquarius at 3:07p PT | 6:07p ET | 10:07p UT

Two wolves are devouring a carcass in the moonlight.   Crafty, subtle, avaricious. Treaties and associations of a dangerous character. Secretive, revengeful, and of a quick temper.  A roaming and unsettled life.  Voracity and Self-seeking.   b

Two bulls fighting.
Disagreeable, unsociable, a fault-finder. Doesn't talk without argument and doesn't' argue without losing temper; hypercritical.   c

Stairs, or a large step-ladder, with a landing, and a hand rail at the top, which leads to nowhere.   On having lofty aspirations, possessing superior abilities, but who through a lack of fixedness of purpose seldom performs anything of real benefit to himself or others, save affording himself a certain amount of self-amusement.

A performer of a mystery play.   Subtlety.   s

A lightning flash.   Extreme nervous energy and force of character who by executive ability and a great fund of energy will take a leading part in the affairs of the community. A great reformer. Clears doubts as lightning rends the clouds. Overturns much of existing belief and becomes a source of illumination to many.   Pioneering.

A cup or goblet from which rays of ruddy light are emitted.   Kind and benevolent. Generous and humane disposition. Eager to befriend and comfort those in distress. The grandeur and spiritual loftiness of this soul attracts many friends. The work of charity and benevolence increases till it enfolds all mankind.   Humaneness.   b

The germ grows into knowledge and life.   Unfoldment.   s

As to Thursday's symbols (I am writing on Friday):   A triangle, whose base-line is three-fourths the length of one of its sides, having a small circular figure at the extremity of each of the angles.   An extraordinary character, not easily understood. He appears destitute of that force one would suppose he possessed. Some defect in the outward organism which impedes development on the outer plane. Of this he is conscious. Therefore a little deceptive. An eminent financier. Shrewdness, the leading trait in a man of the world. Lacking in the moral or religious principle.   c

This describes to a T the man pardoned by Trump, Dinesh D’Souza  If you read about him, you will see. The pardon took place on the day of this symbol. Amazing.

Tow other symbols for Thursday:
A group of vagrants or gypsies, seated around a cauldron in which food is preparing.   A person of alien type, whose fortunes will be fickle and whose happiness will be centered in his family. Sensuousness; excess in the satisfaction of the appetites. Will leave native land and wander over the world, never satisfied with things as they are. Ever seeking, will leave many golden opportunities behind.   Excess.   b

A group of people who have overeaten and enjoyed it.  Satiety.   s

These were exactly, precisely, and totally accurate for my own life, for I was invited to a meal the symbols describe, in my apartment building, although I declined the invitation.

The symbols are real and are helpful to anyone who contemplates them, especially perhaps in the middle of the day or at the end of it. I hope you find mental-emotional-spiritual treasure in today's indications.

{Saturday}  /Consciousness Smoothly Unfolding\

Cosmic Piper

b: Signor Borelli, 19th century clairvoyant; interpreted by Sepharial who was Walter Gorn Old
c: Charubel, 19th century clairvoyant who was John Thomas
s: Sabian symbols which came through psychic Elsie Wheeler, interpreted by Marc Edmund Jones
